WES Facilities And Services

WES Campus is dedicated to offering and upholding outstanding facilities and creating a conducive learning environment for all students. While we prioritize comfort and convenience, students are encouraged to maintain a respectable appearance in line with the institution’s values. Although there is no strict requirement for business attire, we encourage students to dress in casual and comfortable clothing suitable for lengthy class sessions. However, we kindly ask that overly casual or inappropriate attire be avoided. Additionally, we remind students to consider the potential disruptions caused by the presence of children in a learning environment, regardless of their age, during study sessions or group discussions. This ensures that all members of our academic community can engage in productive learning experiences.

WES Equity Committee

At WES Campus, an Equity Committee is established to set up structures, develop processes, and foster a culture that prioritizes Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and equity principles throughout the institution. The overarching goal of the committee is to cultivate a workplace and learning environment free from harassment and discrimination, promoting fairness and encouragement fer all staff and students.

Library

The library facilities at WES encompass a collection of over 5000 books and pericdicals, providing students with a comprehensive resource for academic studies. Additionally, students have access to their respective university e-libraries for further research and study materials. Furthermore, the library offers additional arnenitie such as photocopying, printing, and stationery services to support students’ academic needs.

The Language Center

The centre works with both the under-graduate and post-graduate students those who speaks the native, those who speak English, or from first language backgrounds other than English. The Centre supports the many and varied aspects of academic study with individual appointments, workshops, peer monitoring and tutoring.

Professional And Executive Education

WES provides a diverse array of short management programs tailored to meet the evolving needs of managers across various stages of their organizational careers. Ranging from afew days to three weeks in duration, these programs cover specialized management areas including strategic management, logistics and supply chain management, and innovative business development. Additionally, WES Campus specializes in designing and delivering customized management education programs, uniquely crafted to address the specific needs of clients.With a flexible approach to course delivery, programs can be conveniently undertaken during weekdays and/or weekends either at WES Campus, utilizing its state-of-the-art facilities, or at the clients’ premises, ensuring accessibility and tailored solutions to meet organizational requirements.

Counseling Service

WES has a dedicated counsellor who offers support to students on various matters.The counselling unit offers academic, personal, and vocational guidance both in one-on-one sessions and group settings. While students are encouraged to book appointments in advance, urgent cases receive immediate attention. Additionally, a telephone counselling service is available for those who prefer remote assistance. Rest assured, all counselling sessions strictly adhere to confidentiality protocols, ensuring students’ privacy and trust.

Social Justice Unit

WES is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where all students have equal opportunities to learn and engage in university life, free from discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying.

Harassment encompasses any form of unwelcome behavior that can humiliate, offend, or intimidate an individual. This can manifest verbally, physically, or in written form and may target individuals based on their actual or perceived race, color,ethno-religious background, descent, national identity, sexual preference, disability (physical or intellectual), pregnancy, marital status, transgender identity, or age.

Bullying refers to actions or behaviours that are intimidating, degrading, or humiliating to another person and pose risks to their health, safety, or welfare. Examples of bullying include “ganging up,” ridicule, demeaning behaviour, or actions that isolate or exclude individuals from the university environment or learning activities.

At WES, we are committed to promoting a culture of respect, tolerance, and inclusion, where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive academically and personally.
